Dinner Made Quick & Easy-Menu Ideas #1

I feel like a coach at the starting line….

Okay team, I have all the dinner “plays” here on my play board, so lets take a look and get started. The goal is quick and easy dinners, organized recipes, and instead of points we get more time!

More time to spend enjoying our family, more time to spend growing our respective businesses. Time to learn and improve our skills, who knows, maybe time to just have a nap!

I am going to include menus for the week in this post. It will get really long to include all the entree recipes in this single post, so they will follow in additional posts. I will use clickable recipe cards so you can print them out and put them in a book if you want. Okay, let’s not waste any time, get on your mark, set, go.

Corn Crusted Chicken
Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Steamed Broccoli
Tossed Salad w/Grape Tomatoes & Shredded Carrots
Brownies

I will include a dessert, that way you will have access to more recipes, but at our house, I seldom serve dessert. No, it is not that my family does not eat sweets, my boys bake cookies at will (more about that later), we just are not in the habit of regular dessert.

Spicy Pork Chops and Cabbage (Crock Pot Meal)
Parsley Potatoes
Caesar Salad
Broiled Grapefruit

Greek Chicken
I love the crock-pot. I am going to use it lots, so there will be quite a few menus that use it.

Paprika Beef
Egg Noodles
Green Beans
Garden salad
Ice Cream

276/365 Strog

Lets pull out the crock-pot again

Souper Chicken
Mushroom & Red Pepper Saute
Steamed Rice
Spinach Salad
Peanut Butter Bars

October 8, 2010 (Day 6/365) Can you believe it is the end of the week already!

Homemade Pizza
Bread sticks and sauce
Salad
Canned Pears

Pizza - Tomato sauce At our house, Friday is pretty laid back, and the schedule is pretty fluid. For those with big plans, they can grab some pizza quickly and still be on time for the football game.

On the weekends at our house, we eat leftovers, so this is the first weeks menu. Remember, if you want maximum use of your time, double the ingredients of the entree and freeze half of it. One note, you may need to adjust the amount in the recipes depending on how many people you are feeding. I’ll post the entree recipes tomorrow. Till then……

Oh, one last thing, I will post the recipes under the recipe section, so you can go there and find them.

  • Hi Grace,
I like that you’ve planned out your menu for the week. That starts you from a positive position, rather than scrambling around at 5 PM trying to figure out what to fix, throwing hands in the air, and hitting a fastfood establishment.

The meals sound wonderful, especially the Paprika Beef! 🙂

    Thanks,
    Peggy
